It is dedicated to quality productions. In 2024 we celebrate 72 years.

WAIT UNTIL DARK - AUDITIONS
HTC's third 2024 production is Frederick Knott's classic psychological thriller.
Auditions will be held at the theatre on Sunday April 21 and Monday April 22.

HTC AGM
The Heidelberg Theatre Company Annual General Meeting was held on Monday April 8 at 8:00PM
- John Gilbert, our president, delivered the President's report.
- Bruce Akers, our treasurer, delivered the Treasurer's report
- Carol Farr, a member of our Box Office team for many years, is this year's recipient of the Bill Cherrey Award
- Brett Hunt, our long-serving Secretary, was awarded life membership
- Owen Evans, head of our set building team, contributer to many set designs and past committee member, was awarded life membership.
Congratulations to Carol, Brett and Owen.

HTC's second 2024 production is a riveting romantic thriller by Joanna Murray-Smith.
Joanna Murray-Smith is one of Australia’s most celebrated playwrights, captivating audiences from Melbourne to Broadway and the West End.

AN IDEAL HUSBAND IS OUR NEW PLAY 5 THIS YEAR
HTC's fifth production for 2024 will now be Oscar Wilde's wonderfully witty and satirical comedy/drama An Ideal Husband.
For those who have tickets to Much Ado About Nothing we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change; you'll be contacted by our Box Office during the next few weeks to see if you wish to keep your tickets to use for the new show or if you prefer a refund.
Please note that tickets for our original play five, Much Ado About Nothing remain valid for our new play five, An Ideal Husband, unless a refund is requested.

PADDY MORIARTY - LIFE CELEBRATION
Following a long illness, Paddy died earlier this month. We are very saddened by the loss of this wonderful, resourceful, cheerful and long-serving contributor to our company.
Paddy's family, colleagues and friends gathered at the theatre on Sunday March 10 to reflect on his life and achievements.
It was standing-room-only in the auditorium as we heard stories of Paddy's childhood and adolescence, Melbourne Uni student days, and details of the various engineering related resource he carried out and the books and many papers he published during his working career at Monash Uni.
RUMORS
HTC's first 2024 production was a wild comedy farce by Neil Simon. We hope you enjoyed this treat to begin our season in the New Year. Many thanks to Gayle Poor and her cast and crew!
