About the play
This modern farce is very French and very funny. Suave publisher Pierre Brochant and his circle of well-heeled friends compete in inviting the perfect 'loser' to dinner, providing them with much entertainment at their guest's expense. Pierre lines up an ideal candidate, François Pignon, whose obsession is making matchstick models of famous architectural landmarks. However on the night of his would-be triumph, when Pierre strains his back and has to rely of Francois for assistance, the tables are turned and Pierre's world begins to fall apart. Don't miss this exuberant evening of mayhem.
