UNDER MILK WOODwritten by Dylan Thomasdirected by Chris Baldockassisted by Helen Ellis17 NOV - 3 DEC 2011Weeknights and Saturday at 8:00pmSundays at 2:00pmAbout the play"From where you are, you can hear their dreams." Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas was originally a radio play. Initially, through a storyteller, we are invited to listen in on the dreams of residents in a tiny Welsh seaside village called Llareggub (a backward sort of place). Then, the town and its colourful characters awaken. With musical language and bawdy humour we see them going about their daily business and become aware of how their feelings affect whatever they do. The humour is black, impassioned, lyrical, and at times hilarious, yet poignant. A poetic theatrical delight Rehearsal shotsCAST:
