This Broadway success concerns the adventures of a Jewish widow and an Irish widow whose respective daughters move them into a shared retirement village condominium in Las Vegas.
Initially the are desperately unhappy until they are befriended by a charming, if not quite sober, gambler who sweet talks his way into their home and brings about outrageously funny changes in their lives.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Joseph Bologna, art history graduate, turned Manhattan-based TV commercial director, met and married actress/writer Renee Taylor in 1965.
Together they collaborated a variety of stage, screen, and TV projects including: Lovers and Other Strangers, Made for Each Other, Woman of the Year, and the Emmy-winning Acts of Love and Other Comedies. Bologna and Taylor also created the 1973 TV series Calucci's Department, and co-directed the 1989 feature film Made for Each Other.
Taylor is best known as Fran Drescher's mother in the US sitcom The Nanny.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
In recent times, Ron's directorial credits include "Lipstick Dreams" for Jacaranda, "Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune" for Trak, "Dirty Work at the Crossroads" for Encore, "My Son the Lawyer is Drowning" for Elwood, "All My Sons", "The Fantasticks" and "Rumours" for Malvern, and "Jigsaws" and "Goodbye Charlie" for Peridot.
