About the play
The Cemetery Club is a witty, heartwarming comedy about Ida, Lucille, and Doris, three Jewish widows in Queens, New York.
Once a month, the lifelong friends gather for tea before visiting their husbands' graves. Though bound by shared loss, each woman navigates her grief in her own hilariously distinct style.
Their comfortable routine is upended when an eligible widowed butcher named Sam enters the picture.
As fresh possibilities emerge and old loyalties are tested, this beautiful play explores friendship, love, and the unpredictable path to moving on.
